Mark Crawford serves as an associate professor and the department chair of the Hans A. Nielsen College of Business at ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ Southern University.
Prior to joining ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥, Crawford served for 7 years as a Judge Advocate for the US Marine Corps. During that time, he also entered higher education as an assistant professor and Naval ROTC unit at The Citadel in ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥, South Carolina. In July 2000, Prof. Crawford entered private practice as an attorney working in the ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ area for another 7 years.
In 2007, he returned to higher education, joining the full-time faculty at ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ Southern University. He teaches ethics, business law, commercial law, and human resource law at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

I believe everyone has a God-given purpose to which they are called. As a Christian educator, my job is to help students recognize their purpose and then provide them with the encouragement, instruction, and/or correction to fulfill that purpose.
